Kyiv, Feb 25 (UNI) The newly proposed resolution on the Ukraine conflict, drafted by Washington, was adopted by the UN Security Council members, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported.

The voting was as follows: 10 in favor, 5 abstentions and no one was against it.

US Deputy Ambassador Dorothy Camille Shea also reminded that this resolution is not a "peace deal," but "a path to peace."

All European-proposed amendments to the resolution were rejected.
